This peppermint free toothpaste, currently the most popular Weleda toothpaste, was formulated at the request of homoeopathic doctors. It is thought, by some homoeopaths, that peppermint (present in most toothpastes) can work to negate the action of a homoeopathic remedy.
The finely precipitated chalk base provides a gentle abrasive to clean and shine the teeth without damaging the enamel; regular use helps protect against the build up of plaque. Extracts of Calendula and Myrrh both provide antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and healing properties for good oral hygiene.
The pleasant fennel flavour, which comes from pure fennel essential oil, makes this a wise choice as a first natural toothpaste.
Directions for use - 1 to 2 cms on a moistened toothbrush.
